London 2012's Food Vision: Catering for the Games
Catering for the Olympic and Paralympic Games is recognised as being the largest peace time catering operation in the world. Over the course of the Games, London 2012 will serve more than 14 million meals, across 40 different locations to diverse groups including athletes, team officials, broadcasters and ticket holders.
Hosted by the London Business Network, this event examined London 2012’s catering strategy and its vision to host a tastier, healthier and greener Games. The evening also provided further information on LOCOG's commitment to support the UK Food, Drinks and Hospitality sector and ensure access to supply chain opportunities for small and medium sized enterprises.
